Tim Jones, Badminton England's regional officer, presented certificates to club chairman Lyndon Allen at the junior club night at Polkyth Leisure Centre. To gain the awards Lydon Allen and lead coach Jeremy Roberts developed a portfolio of work, a coaching structure, links with schools and attended badminton and sport welfare courses. "It's fantastic to see such an energetic club be rewarded for their continuous hard work and support," said Mr Jones.

Club Mark is the only national cross sports quality accreditation scheme for clubs with junior sections. It is built around a set of core criteria which ensure that accredited clubs operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards.
